The TASW80 is an energy-efficient thermal break aluminum sliding window system built on an 80mm structural depth, with a PA66 polyamide strip running structurally through both the frame and the sash. That thermal barrier reduces heat transfer through the frame, making the system markedly more energy efficient than a standard aluminum slider. Combined with Low-E glass and a warm-edge spacer, TASW80 readily meets the performance requirements of different countries and climates. Sashes glide horizontally within the frame plane, so the window provides expansive views and good ventilation while occupying no interior or exterior space, suiting both residential and commercial buildings.
A PA66 polyamide strip is integrated structurally into both frame and sash, interrupting the conduction path through the aluminum. This is what makes the system genuinely energy efficient rather than relying on glazing alone.
The combination of the thermal break, Low-E glass and a warm-edge spacer reduces heat loss in winter and solar heat gain in summer, lowering heating and cooling demand and improving overall building performance.
Sliding sashes open and close with minimal physical effort, making the system convenient for daily use across a wide range of occupant needs.
