PCW82 is a high end upvc casement window system, with triple glass, it can even be used on passive house. The system is highly suggested to be used in cold areas due to its great thermal insulation. As well it is suggested if sound insulation is highly concerned.
The P82H is our American style vinyl single hung window system, built on an 82mm structural depth and a 1.5mm profile wall. The upper sash is fixed while the lower sash travels vertically on a single-sash lift operator, so the window keeps the classic hung-window proportions with only one operating sash and never projects into the room or beyond the facade. Double glazing of 4+10A+4 is fitted as standard, with triple glazing available where a higher thermal specification is required, and a fiberglass insect screen is supplied with the system. Confirmed by NFRC certification, P82H is a dependable, easy-to-specify choice for residential houses, apartments and light commercial projects in the North American market and beyond.
With the sashes stacked one above the other, the single hung window is one of the most recognisable residential window types. Its balanced proportions suit traditional, transitional and modern facades alike, and the familiar appearance is what makes it such an easy specification for volume housing projects.
Because the operating sash travels vertically within the frame, the window never projects into the room or out across the facade. This makes P82H a practical choice beside walkways, decks, patios, kitchens and furniture, where an outward-swinging sash would be in the way.
The lower sash runs on a single-sash lift operator that keeps the sash steady and holds it in position when partially open, so the window can be set to any ventilation opening without slipping. The system is designed for sashes of up to 20kg, which covers the great majority of residential sizes.
Opening the lower sash from the bottom allows warm, stale air to escape through the upper part of the room while fresh air enters low down. The sash can be left at almost any position, so ventilation can be adjusted to suit the weather rather than simply opened or closed.
The 82mm structural depth gives the frame and sashes the rigidity needed to stay square and to operate smoothly over a long service life. The profile wall is 1.5mm, and the welded frame resists wind load without deflection or distortion of the sash tracks.
The 4+10A+4 double glazed unit reduces heat loss through the glass and cuts external noise, keeping interiors warmer in winter and quieter throughout the year. Triple glazing is available for colder climate zones or where a higher acoustic performance is specified.
A fiberglass insect screen is available for the operating sash, keeping insects out while preserving the appearance of the window from both inside and outside the building.
UPVC does not rot, rust or corrode and requires no painting or refinishing. Occasional cleaning with a soft cloth and mild detergent is enough to keep the profile in its original condition, and the lift operator and lock only need routine lubrication.

Opening Inspection: Confirm the rough opening is level, square, plumb and correctly framed before installation, and check the fixing line for the mounting flange.
Flange Fixing: Fasten through the perimeter mounting flange at the specified spacing to create a continuous weather barrier connection; do not drive fasteners through the drainage channel.
Insulation and Flashing: Apply flashing tape over the flange in accordance with local practice, and insulate the perimeter for thermal and moisture control.
Waterproof Sealing: Seal the internal and external joints as required and confirm that the sill drainage paths and weep holes remain clear and unobstructed.
Sash Alignment: Check that the operating sash slides freely, that it seats evenly against the gasket when closed, and that the crescent lock engages fully.
Hardware Adjustment: Adjust the lift operator so the sash remains in position when partially open and closes with even compression.
Screen Installation: Fit the insect screen and check that it sits squarely in its frame without binding.
Film Removal: Remove protective films promptly after installation to avoid adhesive residue from sun exposure.
Regular Cleaning: Clean frames and tracks with a soft cloth and water; lubricate the lift operator and lock hardware annually. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents.
Can the size be customized?

What is the difference between P82H and a double hung window?
P82H has a single operating sash — the upper sash is fixed and the lower sash lifts. A double hung system such as our PDH78 has two sashes that both move.
Which glazing should I choose?
