PSW62 is a also basic uPvc sliding window system, it can be either single or double glazed. It doesn’t have a fly screen integrated, so it is lighter and more economic than PSW80 system. Both have same performances in other aspects.
The PSW62 is a lightweight, cost-effective European style UPVC sliding window system built on a compact 62mm structural depth. Sashes travel horizontally along the track, so the window consumes no interior or exterior space and suits balconies, kitchens, bathrooms and smaller rooms where a projecting sash would be impractical. Unlike the PSW80, PSW62 does not integrate a flyscreen, which makes it lighter and more economical while retaining the same performance in all other respects. A built-in 1.5mm steel reinforcement and a triple-chamber profile give it dependable wind resistance, sound insulation and thermal performance at an accessible price point.
The sliding sash glides along the track within the frame plane, so the opening is clear of any projecting hardware or sash — ideal for balconies, compact rooms and circulation routes.
Without an integrated flyscreen, the system weighs less and costs less than the PSW80 while matching it in thermal, acoustic and structural performance. It is our recommended solution for budget-driven projects that still require durable UPVC construction.
The triple-chamber UPVC profile and optional double glazing reduce heat transfer through the frame and glass, helping to keep interiors warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
A built-in 1.5mm steel reinforcement stiffens the sash and frame, providing basic wind resistance and keeping the sliding sash true over years of use.
High-quality weatherstripping and a single-point locking mechanism work together to withstand harsh weather, while the track profile drains any water that reaches it.
The sealed, multi-chamber construction cuts external noise, creating a quieter interior environment for residential and commercial spaces.

Opening Inspection: Confirm the opening is level, square, plumb and clear of debris, and check that the sill is flat within tolerance so the track drains correctly.
Frame Fixing: Position packers at the specified intervals and anchor the frame with expansion bolts at standard spacing, taking care not to distort the track.
Foam Filling: Fill the perimeter gap with high-quality expanding foam for insulation and waterproofing, then trim flush after curing.
Waterproof Sealing: Apply exterior-grade silicone sealant to external joints and confirm that the track drainage slots and any weep holes are unobstructed.
Track Protection: Keep the track free of mortar, plaster and construction debris throughout the remaining works; cover it if necessary.
Sash Adjustment: Verify that the sashes slide smoothly, meet evenly at the interlock and that the lock engages without force.
Film Removal: Remove protective films promptly after installation to avoid adhesive residue from sun exposure.
Regular Cleaning: Brush and vacuum the track regularly and clean the frame with a soft cloth and water; lubricate rollers and hardware annually.
Avoid Impact: Protect glass edges and frame corners from mechanical impact during construction.
Can the size be customized?
Yes. All PSW62 windows are custom-made to fit your specific rough openings.
What is the difference between PSW62 and PSW80?
PSW62 has a 62mm profile and no integrated flyscreen, making it lighter and more economical; PSW80 has an 80mm profile with an integrated sliding screen. Performance is otherwise comparable.
Is an insect screen available?
A concealed screen can be specified as an option; it is not integrated into the standard PSW62 profile.
Are these windows energy efficient?
Yes. The triple-chamber profile and optional double glazing reduce heat transfer, and thermal performance improves further with Low-E glass.
How long is the warranty?
We typically offer 5–10 years warranty on profiles and hardware, depending on the project requirements.
Do you provide export packaging?
